Thank you for such a toouching tribute. Freddie was an artist in every respect. Not only by his voice and music, but by his life, his love (JIm Hutton), his weaknesses, genius, and his early death, have I been able to better understand myself. There are signicant people who have walked this earth who have had a lasting effect on people. To some it is a religious or political figure....to me it is Freddie. Hutton's book is the ultimate reading for true Freddie fans...read it and you will see.

Hard to believe it's been almost 19 years since Freddie left us. Seems like yesterday. I remember the news was quite jolting since Freddie kept his illness so private, and in those days there was no internet to spread gossip and rumors like wildfire. Even the tabloids back then were not what they are today. Many people did not realize Freddie was so close to death. One day he released a statement that he had AIDS and then literally the next day he was gone. Shocking and heartbreaking.
