Old books or photo albums are often banned under glass cabinets for display in museums and the pages can not be turned. The book can not be read and its content is lost to the public. Here the interactive digital book comes into place. The original pages of the book are scanned and digitized. Then the resulting digital book is projected onto a slightly angled panel. The viewer can turn the pages of the projected book by slightly touching the page corners. Addditional information is dispayed by touching highlighted hotspots on the page. The user can zoom into certain page areas and get a closer look to areas of interest. The old book is open to the public again. http://www.whitevoid.com
