  • u can do all your training separately its cheaper and faster and your grades dont really matter but it will help if you are good at maths and it's not a very well payed job if you are starting of some first officers only get payed between 20 and 25 grand a year but as you get more hours and get a better job with a major airline and become a captain it will start to become a much better paying job + all women love a pilot:)

  • The statement made regarding spending a lot of money for ATP training, and then only starting on 17k is true. The pilots work 80 hour weeks, and get paid for only 20 hours. Pilots starting out lead a rough and very tired life style. It's not what it used to be- The all mighty dollar rules how decisions are made in the Airline industry.

  • This guys is full of S****. I was talking to one of there recruiters total tuition for this school is 90000. Delta will NOT hire you right after you finish there school you will start at a regional airline you will then move up. Regional airline pay is S***** about 17000-20000 a year. I would rather go to a 4 year college get my bachelors and then start getting my pilot training at a local air school. Delta requires you to have a 4 year degree! Dont go here you will only earn DEBT!

  • "Airline Pilot - Why bother?"........best rhetorical question ever.

  • @kev3404 Hello i am in the Marine Corps getting ready to retire and really want to become an airline pilot. Can you email me at wells0321@aol.com. i have many questions i would love to ask you.

  • @FlyWisconsin did you go to ATP? and what do you do for a living now? please email at wells0321@aol.com

  • @MilibandDavid It would certainly appear a lot easier to become a pilot in the US

  • Being a Airline pilot in the US is not considered special. people treat them like bus drivers in a smart suit. Have you seen the shit they fly on the internal flights? Aging Mcdonald Douglas wreaks etc.
