I know, right? I'm 27 now, so I'm more lenient on my demands than I was as a kid - but even then, I would watch Laurel and Hardy, the old Tarzan films, etc. with great enjoyment! Kids today? Phffft! "Laurel and who?" and "Tarzan? Disney films are for kiiiiids!"
And dont even THINK about trying to get them to read comics or, god forbid, novels.
It's all about the FUCKING video game today.
GOD, I cant wait until the video game becomes unfashionable like comics =)

You know I have to say as much as I've heard bad about this story, I actually REALLY liked it and thought it was a great episode. Colin Baker gave what I think was a fantastic performance, the twins were funny, Azmael was interesting, the plot was basic, but that allowed it to focus on the Doctor, plus you gotta love Doctor Who for coming up with things like giant psychokinetic slugs that want to take over the universe. The only negative comment I can make is about Peri's acting... yeesh. :-S

It has to be said though Comin off the back of caves of androzani with this story, he didn't have much chance really.

I really like Colin baker and his style of doctor if only he was nice to peri and just really harsh on his enemies like 9th doctor was. Wish he had a different costume aswell lol! He's great actor just didn't find the balance for me.

I was in Davison withdrawal when I first saw Colin. I'd seen the other Docs, but Davison was the one I connected with. So...I watched this next incarnation with triple-dread, but liked him. Actually, it was Peri who got on my nerves more than this Doc did! But at least she wasn't Bonnie Langford. Either way, I remember I did like several of his stories, I did like his portrayal, and "Trial" confused the heck out of me. ;) I'd definitely give his years another go.

@doctorwhoo2 I love the Classic Dr who series and new series both just as equally, I have only seen abit of this story but my favorite Dr who story ever would be Dalek.

Got this for my birthday. Cheered at the end because it was that good. Yes thats right "good" I started watching this expecting to nod off but i was glued to the screen. Yes the twins may have been annoying but they were barely in it. Please if your hesitating buying this do not worry. Its worth every penny.

I remember in the days before the internet i searched high and low for a copy of this on VHS and when i finally found it i was totally thrilled beyond words. It cost me £25 which was ALOT of money to me back then. Imagine how disappointed i was when i finally got the watch it........

I just finished watching The Twin Dilemma on DVD earlier today. I like this episode but I had to laugh at certain parts. Like where Lt Lang just happens to try on the shirt where Peri hid his power pak for his ray gun. LOL! And I wasn't the only one it was mentioned in the Info. I was shocked to discover that the actor who played Hugh Land is the SAME guy who plays GIBBS in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies! Small world.

You have a great sight for quality vintage tv shows for your age..shame there aren't more like you, especially the people that run tv today.
The vaults are packed full of great old tv at the BBC and ITV, but they can't be bothered to give us a channel that provides vintage tv, as I know there is a demand for it.
I cannot wait for this DVD - I have waiting for Twin Dilemma to come out since the DVD releases began. Why? Because it is simply the most bonkers Dr Who story ever featuring a truely barnstorming performance by Colin Baker making it rather perversely my favorite and most watched Dr Who story. Bravo the BBC! And my a bones rot etc for ordering it!

Glad to see you like this story. Always liked the following serial Attack of the Cybermen for all it's continuity references and action.
