Great vid. Remembering this event. I was an eleven year old boy and watched it on TV. Wachted his victory in Bischofshofen in the late eighties. He was on of the best US ski jumpers. Saw him live in Garmisch and Oberstdorf. I´m not sure, but I think he had a bad crash on the large hill in Oberstdorf.

Wow! The owner of this account is real Mike Holland? Cool! I love ski jumping and i love old videos of ski jumping, great to see this. Fantastic jump, if i reckon, the first over 185 m. Americans always were good on flying hills, if i reckon Alan Alborn flew over 220 m once... Good luck to you and US ski jumping! Greetings from Poland.
