  • Bangladesh must understand that every country's interest is to look after its citizen first and then the others. Obviously if India dnt release water then the overflow will cause more severe damage. It's very sad to know after helping Bangladesh so much to get freedom from Pakistan they consider India as their enemy. Instead of blaming India why you d'nt build a diversion and store water so that the people and the villages don't get affected.

  • @crashhold I think India should understand the consequence of water control which they are facing by Chines Dam. If it is not big problem for India then why they keep protesting to stop Chines Dam on their river flow and trying to take attention of others??? It is very simple sense, there is no way for down stream country to protect the land if water flow come from the up stream specially in Rainy season. Again there is no option get water if up stream land block the water.

  • @crashhold There is another fact I like to include here Farakka was build for trial purpose but question is arrived, how many years this trial project should be. This is globalization era, no one should do anything in terms of affecting neighbour country, what India has been practising long time of period. One more question, "WHY NON OF THE INDIAN'S NEIGHBOUR HAVE GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH THEM". Even with their some states in East known by SEVEN SISTER COUNTRY.

  • This is a pakistani work to break relations between India and bangladesh .

  • @andrew90067 If you become Indian neighbour then your tone would be changed I am sure. Ask all the Indian neighbours then then talk. India making trouble to China (border war, water), Pakistan (border war, water), Bangladesh (border war, water), Sri-Lanka (Tamil Tiger made by India), Nepal (Border 1978 to 1991), Burma (Border 1968 to 1998), and even Bhutan (Border pushing 1979). India is a big problem in this part of the world perhaps in Asia.

  • It is so upsetting. As a Bangladeshi, I feel so helpless. Big countries and their big companies' interest comes first and humanity is not in the equation. My thanks to people behind this documentary for bringing this issue in such an organized way. I hope things change in coming days.

  • @Mhnahid27 thank you for your point of view.... i believe that we Bangladesh(i) needs to understand; we have rise up by ourselves. Also, we needed to push our govt. and the both the parties of AL, BNP, and their joints......

  • @deb12309f Thank you for you support and truthful ness

  • @crashhold As-salam. At first I will request to you to view the video more carefully. Especially from 12:00. You will see that your govt. not you... your govt. is discharging ammunition when Bangladeshi works are working. If I take you advise, to build a diversion, still your govt. breaking international law. Also we don't think India our enemy, but your govt. is doing, they are rising the T's. Look the movie, you'll c a group of people protesting. The group wearing orange, they are T's

  • @naushadzaman Dear Country Men, I respect your feelings, same time I want to tell you to stand up. If you read our history, and believe you did; the history teaches us we change the world, when we rise up. British took Indian Sub when we fail to stop. That's why we have to rise. Also, we have to keep our ID which earn after 1971. I apply to you to read the history of Singapore [Asian Tiger-Lion City]. Because, "ma go amra ar kono din dasey hota dibo na." Joy Bangladesh.

  • @mskhaider I understand the problem when china does that the problem will be large. These disputes may be solved by International court. This is not unique to India and Bangladesh, such disputes are common among Indian states. Its attitude of people who think if river starts in their region they own it again its not about Indians. Population is the main reason, next global warning. India and Bangladesh show implement one child policy like China. They should also invest in desalination tech.

  • gosh that sounds seriously serious

  • @mskhaider i am an indian and what shown in this documentary is true and reason for this is our country ... i will try my best to rectify it and do whatever in my power to make my govt aware of this .

  • @crashhold

of course a country should look after its individual interests, however india looks a lot like the big bad USA - only in it for themselves, and couldn't give a care in the world what happens to other nations. The water policies of India are not just affecting their neighbor, they've had repercussions on many communities in India itself; its clear the gov't of India is only interested in turning a profit as opposed to saving lives.
