Barry never recorded this. This was a one-off gig where Barry invited guest musicians to play with him. He did loads of covers as well as some of his own tracks. It was fantastic.

This song was written by Jacques Brel. My favourite version (apart from this one) is performed by Scott Walker (although I'm not sure if that's the original). It's on Scott Walker sings Jacques Brel.

Have to say Get Ready For Love was brilliant! There was a bloke just one in front of me (2nd row from front) who recorded loads of the gig! I hope he puts it on - the footage was ace!

Wow! I'd love to have been there! Awesome show! One should say it's difficult to ruin such a masterpiece of a song, and still the best version's still the original by Brel, I think... Check also the wonderful Gavin Friday take on this one
