A Collective Agreement is a legally binding contract signed usually by two parties. In this case the employer (Concordia University) and the union (CUPFA). CUPFA has had two Collective Agreements: one negotiated in 1991 and the second negotiated in 1997. We have been -and still are- negotiating a third Collective Agreement since 2002. ConU has the largest amount of grievances, arbitrations, and legal contestations of all Universities in Quebec. Our employer does not negotiate in good faith or honour what they sign.
