Awesome. RIP, Ray Candy.
-
Ray Candy was a good dude who doesn't get the respect he deserves. He is largely forgotten except for his run in the Zambui but Ray was a great babyface.

Bigbluedinosaur that it so true. Ray Candy aka Kareem Muhammad on of the greatest underated wreslers. He's responsible for New Jack and Kane.
-
He was cool. Ernie Ladd used to say bad things about him but I really enjoyed watching him wrestle.
-
I like Thunderbolt Patterson he a good wrestler but Ole Anderson is a cranky wrestler and he was a jerk back in Georgia Championship Wrestling.
-
fuck ole. teddy long and others have said he was a racist bastard.
-
@GDCTT Yeah, Ole's racist since he was the one booking and hiring these guys and all.
-
@songoku350 I don't know if Ole said this for the sake of the story or what but if you check out the you tube video where Ole turns on Thunderbolt Patterson and then he an Arn double-team Patterson, he did tell Arn to "get that n***** up here".

Give Ole a break Lanny was really REALLY flexible. The dude could suck his own cock. How do you put a hold on somebody like that?!
-
as for ole havign a great career most people remember him for the 4 horsemen and the kicker is that everyone stills says the line up with barry windham was the best, as for ole being a legit tough guy, you got lanny poffo saying he stretched ole, and in eric bischoff's book he told a story in the 90s how blackjack mulligan ko'ed ole with one punch just because mulligan didnt like how ole would talk shit bout bischoff, just cause a guy yells on tv doesnt make him a tough bastard
its cool....man i gotta say - i LOVE your clips....you have the one where Terry Gordy piledrove Ted Dibiase 4 times?

There is a clip of that up on YouTube already but I just found a stash of Georgia tapes in my basement (forgot I had them). I'll see if there's a better copy of it around. I also just posted the follow up to that angle where they replayed the famous Mid South angle blinding JYD.

I stand corrected. Ernie Holmes is a different interview. Sorry about that.
