wrong - the opposite was right! Suffering ONLY was caused by the invasion of many western Powers after the virtually bloddless revolution and when the financed civil war and when the capitalists build up Hitler to crash down the USSR. But REGARDLESS this heavy wars the USSR developed in only 40 years to a leading developed state in the world with the first satellite, first astronaut and people did not need to work under capitalist conditions, had social security, free healthcare etc

@CenTexKev Communism? wtf.....ok lets define Communism - A *STATELESS* and *CLASSLESS* society. The Soviet Union had a government and still had classes. Socialism - The workers control the means of production. The Soviet Union's Centralized State Controlled the means of production. The Soviet Union was neither communist or socialist.

Where is the beautiful iconostasis and the icon of the Holy Theotokos in this video? I would be so pleased to know. Kristos Voskrese, and in a very real sense Nikolai Vokrese too!

Well alot of russias population would of dropped if the tsar won becuase millions were dying of famine and food shortage so basicly lenin saved you russians then stalin [when it should of been Trotsky] came and screwed up mother russia by killing innocent people for nothing and angered hitler so the USSR went into world war 2
also the poor became equal with others [if they had jobs] so not many poor people [nor rich either] not much crime
it was pretty much a happy place IF you wernt in Ukraine

Stupid Communists kill russian tsar!!! Now Russia sacrifice for it and pay the price with suffering of it's own people...Communism brought the destruction and murder to the russian nation...

I can not believe the ignorance of some of these comments - straight out of the Soviet grammar school curriculum. 1st - it's well documented that Nicholas did not order the Blood Sunday massacre. 2nd - the blood Nicholas did shed (after trials) trying to save Russia was a drop in the bucket compared to the 120 million quarts of blood shed by the Soviets (without trials). 3rd - Russia still has millions of people living in poverty. Lenin's propaganda machine still works, even in 2009.
