JW-Jones recording with Little Charlie Baty, and Junior Watson.

Charlie and Junior have never recorded on the same tracks together in a combined 70 year history. Now, the two most influential blues guitarists to surface in the last 3 decades are seen here in the studio!

This has been called a "recording of historic importance", and also features Richard Innes and Larry Taylor.

This song ("Double Eyed Whammy" by Freddy King) will appear on the new release by JW-Jones in 2008!

  • What kind of amp is Charlie using?

I really dig that clean sound

Is it a reissue Blues Deluxe or an old 57 Twin-Amp?

  • Hey Okiwaso, he's using my Fender Bassman and reverb tank... JW

  • Hey JW, sounds great! I also like the line-up of adult beverages in the foreground ;) haha

I have a couple new "Rick Estrin and the Nightcats" videos on my page for your viewing pleasure.

  • yea I noticed that on the video... but the truth is, no one had a drink all day - they were from the previous band! haha...

  • I have truely been blessed to see Little Charlie and the Nightcats in so many small venues. When they came to the Roadhouse 101 in Lincoln City, just before Charlie retired from the band, packin there own gear, there was no P.A. and they just hung out having some drinks with everyone until someone could get a P.A. I have some great pics of that night on my FB. They are not only great performers they are just cool cats.

  • @jwjones1 is that a reissue bassman or an old one?

    Thanks
