Also, before any other women posts, and try to twist the words of what the men have posted. nobody is saying that a man wants a woman to be home barefoot and pregnant, we all know in todays economic times and cost of living it takes 2 incomes. when a man finds the traits he wants in a woman, AND she has a good job, her own house, car....etc

Black men want successful women, most men want successful women. The problem is that the majority of successful black women are just not attractive. And black women think that being successful means that they can be fat and unattractive and expect a good looking black man.

unfortunatley this doesnt sit well with most women because they dont really enjoy being housemaids as much as they enjoy pursuing their dreams - & most of the time this is more important than simply attracting men who want women washing, ironing, cleaning & breeding.

i too would love a "sanctuary" to come home too, & be waited on eagerly by a (essentially) personal slave - we can all dare to dream.

Arrogance in a woman is a turn off for me. Men don't want a woman who will look down on them. It's not the success itself that is the problem it is the ATTITUDE that sometimes can accompany it.

Men are not turned off by successful women, they are turned of by arrogant women who have to tout their so-called "success" around in light of their bad attitudes, lack of personality, and horrible social/dating skills. Check your foul attitudes and bravado (and the bragging) and maybe someone might be able to stand you so-called "independent women" types.
