After Physical Therapy

Earlier in the day I met with the doctors and staff at ICM, the Institute for Cellular Medicine, in San Jose, Costa Rica to discuss my 4 week stem cell treatment. They drew blood and we discussed any questions I had and the details of the weeks to come.

Then in the afternoon, I had my first meeting with my physical therapist, Jennifer, to determine the best therapy treatment for my condition. My strength, for the most part, is pretty good because I swim and exercise, but my hands are weak and my balance is poor. We will be focusing on those things as well as general overall physical therapy while I am here.

She also gave me a list of exercises to do everyday when I get home.

This is after Day 1 of Physical Therapy at CIMA Hospital.
