Pearl Jam - Smile (I Miss You Already) - Cover

Hey all,

Pearl Jam's "Smile (I Miss You Already)" is a song that I played for my friends when I was younger. We were all big Pearl Jam fans and they would always say "Play some Pearl Jam!" So, I learned this song off of their No Code album. I intended to record it as an acoustic, but I just could not let a chance to play some Neil Young type grunge rock pass me bye.

On this song I used my Fender American Standard Thin Skin Stratocaster (FSR), Jerry Jones Shorthorn Guitar, Fender Jazz Bass, and my Fireglo Rickenbacker 330. I don't have a guitar with a humbucker (preferred for this song), so I decided to show the versatility of a Rickenbacker. Nobody ever seems to play many leads on Rickenbackers, so I set out on a mission. :)

Decent job, and I really like that you actually use your voice as opposed to trying to sound like Eddie(Too many people do that, and it sounds like shit). The only real criticism I have is the cadence with which you sing parts of the verse. I like the way you really belt out the chorus though, sounds good.

very interesting and considering you basically played it one handed i was really impressed. Vocals were right there but i think you need to get out of your confort level and open them up a bit. All said and done great job!
