This is a video clip with footage from the tv series "the Rebel" that ran from 1959-1961 starring Nick Adams. The song in this video is sung by Johnny Cash. While this isn't the shows theme song, Johnny Cash sang that as well.

  • so is this a spin off the Restless kid from-Ricky nelson? or did Ricky nelson take it from Cash?

  • I'm not sure which one came first. I'm assuming Nelson's, but I have nothing to back that up.

  • please can u send me a link from where you got the song, cuz i cant find it anywhere

  • I'm not sure if you can download it from the internet. I got it from the CD "My Rifle, My Pony, and Me," which can be found on Amazon.

  • @stantler16 song was written by Johnny Cash, alternate versions appear on Bootleg Volume 1

  • I would love to be able to get the sound clip of this can someone help please!

  • Is that Johnny Cash or a sound alike. It didn't seem quite right to me. But I could be wrong.

  • Good!

  • Hey Jubal, check out a current UTube Clip called Joey Heatherton birthday party. Its a home movie made during the time she was filming Twilight of Honor. Nick Adams is prominently featured in the footage. A rare candid glimpse of him in a real life setting.

p.s. I think he was an under-rated actor. His performance in The Hook was in the same class as his buddy James Deans work, if you look at Deans work objectively.

  • Did Johnny later sell ice cream under the name "The Good Yuma Man"???

  • I Always watched this show as a kid...I was later stationed in Yuma Ariz as a Marine..Thanks for posting
