After two years in a box in pieces my loco re-paint has finally been finished during the Christmas 2008 holidays! The loco was by K-Line, but arrived in a Lionel Box after Lionel purchased K-Line. We built a new home and had to move into a temporary space in between, which accounts for the delay.

  • very nice paint job, Im from Wisconsin so we get CP rail traffic here and i cant wait to get an engine on my layout to show my local railway pride.

  • I understand. I love to model stuff that I can go see with my own eyes.

  • K-Line also made a Santa Fe SD75I, so I have been asking K-Line to produce two Canadian National SD75I units and two CN five unit, rib-sided Intermodal Well Cars with CN Intermodal Containers.

Start e-mailing K-Line and Lionel to get them to make more modern CN equipment.

Have you seen and heard the CN Tank Train set made by LIONEL? The Lionel CN Tank Train looks great and the CN DASH 9 has RailSounds that are distinct to that unit.

  • Andrew, I do email them too. :)

  • And yes I have seen the train of which you speak, I think...

  • Thanks!

  • Not "toy trains" they're scale models.

  • Pretty cool, the only thing I don't like about Lionel is their tracks having a third rail, to me it doesn't look realistic.
