This video features Lindy demonstrating his new Hum Cancelling Jazzmaster pickups in a "parts guitar" Jazzmaster. The guitar features a Warmouth body which was specially routed to accept these unique pickups. This demo was recorded using a V.V.T. Lindy Fralin model combo amp, rated at 38w and featuring 1-15" Eminence speaker. The mic used was a Sennheiser 609 which was draped in front of the amp, although the lavalier mic that Lindy is wearing is picking up some of the ambient sound from the room. • Hey Lindy. Thanks for all your great work and playing. Do you think it would be possible to wind a jazzmaster pickup as a split blade? Would that make it closer to a vintage noiseless design? The hum-cancelling P-90's aren't bad, but not quite that classic jazzmaster "spy film" sound.

  • @MrGrimhope There is room under a Jazzmaster cover but I don't know how you would get a Blank cover to modify. It would sound more like a Fender though. Lindy

  • Do You have humcancelling replacement pickup, that fits perfectly to original '62 Jazzmaster, without any woodwork?

  • @zaloduoo In the only Jazzmaster I have is a Warmoth and it did need some wood removed under the neck pickup to fit the hum-cancelling version. Lindy

  • are this guitars on sale ? cause is exactly what im looking for: A jazzmaster, with maple neck, no tricky switching on top and with tremolo arm. Where cna i find one ?

  • @trojancelis Sorry, it's not for sale. It is one of our neck and a Warmoth body. Lindy

  • I just have to say, this man always seems so modest and unpretentious for someone who has earned the respect of so many people by providing a solid product. The guitar in this video probably ran about a grand or so to put together, and I defy you to tell me that it doesn't sound as good as many vintage axes that sell for $15,000 and up!

  • @avibortnick It is called "Aria Distortion". Lindy
