Sam Fischer's no longer the only character you control in "Splinter Cell: Conviction," out in February. AP's weekly Video Game Video looks at its stealthy co-op mode. (Dec. 24)

  • have you tried the demo? Before I had played it, i thought it would be nothing like it, but after playing the demo I was actually surprised at by how similar the game was to the old ones. It IS different, but you still play it like it was one of the old titles.

  • I think the best part about it is that it's most fun to play stealthy cause you really feel like a predator and you can do it fast and silently like your freakin Jason bourne or something. I also love the tons of different options you have in killing your targets. That one short demo has had me hooked for days and I'm still finding new ways to play things out.

  • @LordTyrannus Fair enough. But if you take interrogations out of the equation, it COULD be possible.

  • @ItsTurningGreen002

Tell me one level where you can complete it 100% stealth, meaning no detection, and no kills or incaps.

Now go to pandora tommorow, or chaos theory and tell me where u can complete 100% stealth.

The former is impossible, the latter quite easy.

  • @abacadian Co-op is fantastic, but the only problem I have with it is lag over the internet, as the Ubisoft servers aren't that great.

  • @LordTyrannus Well, I have owned and completed all of them, so I either must not be aware of the term used for a certain action, or you are just making it up. I presume it is something about either following a guy slowly from behind or going the whole game without being spotted?

  • @astronomysetec From what I've heard, army of two has a similar dynamic, but I've never played it so I wouldn't be able to say...

I think there is a demo out though, so I'm planning to give it a look.

  • @ItsTurningGreen002 I would disagree with you on the co-op front. The single player campaign is classic splinter cell, but the co-op is something else entirely.

To be honest, I just wish the co-op campaign was longer because I've never played anything like it.

  • one of the more amazing co-op game out there in a long time. Named other games have such great co-op gameplay like this???

    long live Archer&Kestrel...

  • Fischer?! Really? FISCHER? Omg...
