When solutions of lead (II) nitrate and sodium iodide are mixed, aqueous sodium nitrate is produced along with the precipitate lead(II) iodide.

    Perhaps you are just being a troll, but I will entertain your comment because there is the possibility you are ignorant of the meaning of the word precipitate. The term refers to a solid product that is made when two aqueous solutions are mixed. Perhaps you are confused why I wrote lead(II) iodide instead of just lead iodide. Almost every compound of lead is made from the lead(II) ion, so distinguishing between lead(II) and the less common lead(IV) is often unnecessary.
