Once again on the other side of the festivities is the goldfish scooping game. Usually played by children but sometimes adults give it a try if their kids are too young. The objective is to scoop as many goldfish as possible into your bowl without breaking the very very very thin net. Once the net is broken, you have to pay again if you want to try and get more.

However, the game owners usually let children try again if just part of it breaks. Afterall, being a hardass never earns you any income.

    Actually some places in the US do have this but they are mostly on the West coast.

  • At least the fish get a fighting chance in this game...here in the US you play sort of a "goldfish pong" game where if you get a ping pong ball in the tank, it's yours. I'm sure the fish aren't thrilled with getting pelted with ping pong balls. However, that's how I got my Kintaro-kun.

  • @00LaTiNaSk8Tr00 buy 20 dollars worth of feeder goldfishes, that should be around 150 fishes, do it in your back yard.
