De Montfort University (DMU) welcomed hundreds of potential students through its doors on Saturday for a hugely successful Open Day.
During the day DMU's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dominic Shellard, addressed a number of groups to explain the importance of open days and the opportunity they present to students while deciding which university they would like to study at.
It was the third university-wide Open Day of the year in which potential students and their families travelled from all over the country to look around the campus.
Departments across the campus organised talks and demonstrations to show the visitors and their friends and families what DMU has to offer, with a particular emphasis on employability and our state-of-the-art facilities.
