This is cool for kids, but it doesn't look at all like traditional tie dye. Your just spray painting fabric in scrunched up designs.

i agree.. YES i know they are little kids having fun.. they would of been better off doing it the other way.. i remember making tie-dye-shirts in 5th grade and these kids should of did the way with the rubber bands.

On the other hand, you could buy 4 pounds of reactive dye and dye more than 400 shirts for under $100, not including shirts. You'd have to buy washing soda and rubber gloves, of course too.
I'd recommend the "REAL" way, not the "instant gratification" goal. Quality is subjective... sometimes.
I can understand hat with kids, you want different though, but if you had a sleepover....

Not just that, but those dyes aren't carcinogens, but are termed "sensitizers".
Sodium carbonate a carcinogen? Why is it an approved food additive? Why is it considered morer "green" to use in place of dish and laundry detergents?

its called simply spray you can get it at almost any arts and crafts store... like michaels or hobby lobby, its cheap too.. like 12.99 for 3 bottles
