Schism 9/11

On September 11, the first song I heard after the towers fell was "Schism" by TOOL. The tone of the song as well as the lyrics seemed eerily appropriate. I had recorded a bunch of the news
footage that day, and thought I should put something together.

5 years later, I sat down to watch the footage and was stunned: in the years that have passed I had forgotten just how shocking and powerful and haunting the images of the events of 9/11 were. So much has happened with the War in Afghanistan, and Iraq that as sad as it
is to say, the impact of September 11, the reason the world has changed, had faded for me.

Though uncomfortable, I decided to make the video and put it out there. I figured it still had such an impact on me, perhaps it would
on others. My goal wasn't to sensationalize or upset people, just to remember that day and what it really means to us all. "I know the pieces fit, 'cause I watched them tumble down..." Edited by Craig Ouellette.

History repeats itself. It's sad. I fear that what happened to the Russians in Afghanistan is eventually gonna happen to us cause we're doing more or the less the same thing except we care about collateral damage and civilian deaths more than the Ruskies did.
