This video is silly. Bed sharing is a wonderful way for mom & DAD to bond with the baby. Both mom & baby sleep better and longer. If you bedshare PROPERLY, it is not dangerous. What gets in the way of intimacy is having a baby...not having the baby sleep in bed. beds are not the only place to get intimate...and after a baby...one needs a way to jazz it up so yes...the rest of the house is a good way to do that...just saying. & those that criticize bedsharing...really dropside cribs are safer?

This video is ridiculous! I certainly don't want to kick my baby out of our family bed and NO way would I put them in their own room.
We have sex everyday just not in our bed! What bull

@anacelestenz thank you! in many countries babies sleep with their parents often until they are 2 or 3 or longer :-) i think that gives them security

The baby should never sleep in the middle of the bed....as the dads aren't so 'Aware" of the baby...and so they may roll over or pull the blanket up over the baby's head and so on.... There are ways to safely sleep with your child and if these are overlooked the safety of your child can jepordized.

You would be very surprised at the how "Aware" you are of the baby while sleeping. I have woken up many nights with a stiff neck...arm asleep...and so on from NOT moving an inch while I slept. . I actually starting sleeping with him by accident during those first few weeks. After witnessing how soundly we BOTH slept during the night we started sleeping together more and more. The safety of your child should always come first so do your reasearch

@TheArtObsessed sids aren't caused because of rolling over the baby. that's another kind of risk. Sids can happen even in the savest environment. Co sleeping like shown in this vid is indeed a bit risky. Normally there would been taken a lot more savety measures so that the baby can sleep savely. Co sleeping is something done in a lot of cultures and there aren't more infant deaths there then in the western way of sleeping appart.
How many kids die in car accidents?, and we are not advised not to take kids in cars...there is a safe way to co sleep...
