I was privileged to call Wendy a friend. He was in Fayetteville, Arkansas 2-3 times, and each time he would have me photograph the performance and mail him the photos to use for future promotions and for his personal use. I loved him very much and miss the harmony of the Sunlighters so much.

Thanks so much for posting this, this is one of my favorites! I could listen to it over and over all day long. I really don't know how Lil Jan does her part....amazing.

@epakluck I've never figured out how Jan keeps saying "Jesus" like that over & over! As many times as I've heard her do this, it has always amazed me!! Anyone else would fall out doing that for so long.

Wendy Bagwell was one of th funniest men I ever heard. The wonderful thing about the Sunlighters though, si that they were annointed singers and ministers of the gospel of Christ. Thank you so much for posting these videos. God bless you.

I'd give just about everything I have to hear them together again......boy do I miss Wendy and Geraldine, and I have to agree that my grandmother (although she doesn't like to be called "grandmother") is great! Thanks again for posting!!

I only had the blessing of seeing these precious people twice but I am so grateful to you folks for posting these really neat videos! Thanks so much!
I bought many albums by Wendy Bagwell and the Sunliters. Not only could they sing but they were anointed and their songs were beautiful.
I still go around singing Jan's composition He Showed Me Mercy.
...then I remembered the man they call the Nazarene he whispered come unto me I begin to tremble as I wept tears of joy he showed me mercy and gave me peace and love."
Also their rendition of Bring Before My Face a Picture is a blessing.

I only seen them once in person . You have a great grandmother one who is loved by many many people .Thank you for writing.I wish that I had more vids of them to add to my show here . They are still number one in my book.
