there is better thing to do with it for example fluid piston powered by external magnet running along the cylinder. No metal contact no oil needed

The bullet is usually made of lead with a copper coating, these two elements aren't affected by magnetic fields, only iron cobalt and nickel are
Bullets are usually lead because it is a lot denser comparing to iron
