Sadly, we had to put Dali down last night. Medicated for canine epilepsy for more than a year, with limited success, his worst behavior was an insatiable appetite for anything toxic. Yesterday, he ate plastic spoons with chocolate on them, poisoning himself with brittle plastic and chocolate. We've pumped his stomach before in an emergency, so this time we felt it was best to put him down. He was a loving and playful companion that shared many miles with me on the road, so he will be missed.
