Archaeologists said Tuesday that they have discovered the remains of a Viking chief buried with his boat, ax, sword and spear on a remote Scottish peninsula, one of the most significant Norse finds ever uncovered in Britain. (Oct. 19)
Awesome find, more importantly... Vikings have a strikingly similar burial method to Christians apparently, look how he is buried in his boat and then covered with Earth... I had always been told they burnt their bodies... this brings new revelations of Viking heritage.
