It isn't crazy to feel her close to you. She is always close to you. They never leave their loved ones.

How can you forget such a pretty fox? She seemed like such a sweetheart from the video's I saw. RIP Bridgie...

"They say they're going to bury me at Mamayev Hill, where a great battle was waged between Partisan freedom fighters and the onslaught of the Nazi warmachine. I just want to be burned and scattered on the coast of Alaska, where I was born. Some say if I'm burned, they'll keep me in a box; for what reason, I don't know. To keep my memory prisoner seems morbid, when I could be given to the world I spent my life protecting, and be forgotten. May the bad memories die before the good..."

Seeing this touches close to home. My mom and I always make small memorials to our dear companions, so this actually brought tears to my eyes thinking of Bridgette. We always keep our ashes, but like someone else suggested you could spread some and keep some. But being as close to Bridgette as you were in life, it's not crazy to think she still might be around =)

@sunshyneNrainxx Thanks so much Dear, we really appreciate you!

I cried while watching this. She was a beautiful baby girl, and I am sorry for your loss. I understand they aren't pets but furry adopted children.

My heart breaks for you. I've lost pets as well. It hurts and it just seems like the world around you goes silent. Maybe the reason you haven't scattered the ashes has a meaning. Maybe she feels like she's closer to you too. Her tribute box is beautiful. Thank you for sharing her with us. We mourn too may god give you peace
I'm not sure this is legal, but maybe you can wait until that day far in the future that you yourself come to pass. Then all ashes, yours and those of your animals could be spread together.

@Tervicz I'm not sure if it's legal or not either but the thought has crossed our mind. ;o)

I was so sorry to hear about Bridgette, but to lose two dear pets so close together...I can't imagine. I know I left a comment in the memorial video, but I have to comment here. I know I don't have to tell you this, but it does get better. It was only two years ago that my cat, Maggie, passed away from cancer. It used to hurt to think about her, but it doesn't anymore. Scatter or keep the ashes; either way, they're always with you. You gave them a good life, and that's what matters. *hugs*

Wow, you both are so talented! Both are so beautiful and I love the use of the box as a memorial box! :)
Maybe one day when you're ready you can spread SOME of her ashes and keep the rest right where they are, in her beautiful memorial box. :)
God bless you hon, I hope and pray your heart is healing more each day! ♥
