Rendan: Quartet for Two is a 2001 film, starring Naoto Takenaka (who also directed) and Yuki Amami. This bizarre movie follows the life of a nuclear family heading quickly for a meltdown. For more info: http://www.bampfa.berkeley.edu/film/FN13822

This clip is my favorite from the movie. Minako (Amami) serves the divorce papers to her husband, Shotaro (Takenaka) who, instead of taking it all in a dignified manner, acts out hilariously in a bid to get her back. What follows is a funny (and sad) physical row between a married couple doomed to never get along.
