American Pole Fitness Association (APFA) proudly presents Pole In The Park™ (Pole Dancing on Union Sq. NYC), the 1st ever city/government approved public pole fitness showcase on a public park in US history & worldwide, a groundbreaking event in pole fitness history! It was live and FREE to the (about 2500 people were in attendance) public on UNION SQUARE PARK, NYC, October 7, 2010 at 12pm to 7pm with performances by handpicked pole fitness professionals. This is a soft preview to the 1st annual American Pole Fitness Championships™, 6.30pm on 23rd of October, 2010 at the prominent Grand Ballroom Theater, Manhattan Center, strategically located in the prestigious neighborhood of 34th Street & 8th Avenue, right in the heart of New York City. There you can expect the most jaw dropping, gravity defying, physically tasking performances from the nation's best as men & women will compete for the historical title "American Pole Fitness Champion™" in their respective gender.
