Three years after war broke out between Georgia and Russia on August 8, 2008, both countries still glare angrily at each other. Temporary cease-fire lines look increasingly like permanent borders. VOA's James Brooke reports from Georgia's boundary with the breakaway republic of South Ossetia.

  • @NobleCrow10 it had nothing to do with hate, you just scared of the truth

  • what a stupid propoganda... making sound like if georgian army executing villagers is fine.

"Now georgian army trained by US" rofl they was trained even before war and was no secret.

  • @tacky0n Pakistan maybe, their crazy. India just bluffing, they know better

  • @tacky0n ugh no it wouldnt, because countries dont use nukes now a days as a first offense and i doubt a couple of Georgian missles could penetrate the Russian missile shield

  • Right,

Russian peace-keepers have been present on foreign land without Georgia invitation. You sent your soldiers to another country without permission from the government of that country. Your solders were hurt as a result of the conflict between the Georgian govenrment and Georgian separatists - osetins. The conflict is not Russia's business. I would agree if UN sent her peace-keepers, but why Russia? You, Russians are trouble makers and agressors and you will pay for that.

  • @NobleCrow10 you Georgians are weird and cannot admit truth like your scared to. Look let me break it down for you. South Ossesita is a neutral region with russian peace keeping troops. you guys came in and opened fire on them....what was russia supposed to do, just let you kill their peacekeepers? doesnt work like that buddy....you invade as an aggressor and you got a war

  • @konischev

You says that Georgia invaded. What she invaded? Her own territory? The conflict within Georgia is not the Russia's business. If UN felt they could have invoke suctions on Georgia. Russia behaves like gangster. Sooner or later Russia will leave with a shame and pay compensation to Georgia for troubles she invited on her.

  • @NobleCrow10 explain. Russia did nothing wrong. Georgia invaded and all Russia did was defend a land that they are required to protect. Georgia wanted war, they got it

  • @trovolapoesia

It is pity you live in a country (USA) you hate. Why do not you go back your mother-Russia and kiss Putin's ass. You do not belong to North America. If you are a patriot of KGB, imperialistic Russia - your place near Putin, Prokhanov and Shevchenko. How US security gave visa to individuals like you?

  • @konischev

Since you live in the US and speak English I think that it is a shame that you believe Putin's propaganda while you have access to alternative points of view and real facts. The occupation of Georgia will forever be stain on Russia's reputation in addition to many other stains like alliance with Hitler in 1939-1941, aggression against Finland in 1939, occupation of the Eastern part of Poland in 1939, Czechoslovakia in 1968, Afghanistan in 1979 and assistance to Arab terrorists.
