The problem with the controls is not really a problem, per se, but it is actually meant to be that way. I read in an interview (sorry, forgot where) that Jonathan Mak belived his game felt best on the D-Pad, hence the decision to only 8 directions. It does get quite annoying at times when using the analog, but using the D-Pad does make it a lot better.
Short and simple, very good review though, I think something you forgot to mention was how, when the enemies are killed, they add onto the song, that's a pretty important fact. But all-in-all, I liked the review, this is hands down one of my favorite games to just kick-back and play.
Alot of this game reminds me of pearl jam xD
