right click the middle of you screen and it should say something like high color and true color then click on it and change it thats all there is too it

i found a better way to make folder icons. It's the easiest i can find, and it works great. There's this program called "folderchanger" that import any picture or images and turn it into iconized folder. It can be found and downloaded by google search "folderchanger"
