We have had a female Jack Russell Chihuahua puppy for almost 2 weeks now, she is going on 10 weeks. She weighs about 4 lbs right now or pretty close. She looks like a Jack, but with a chihuahua face and smaller. Was your puppy about 4 pounds at 9/10 weeks old? I just got her a crate that will fit dogs 12 to 25 lbs, the smaller size fit dogs up to 12 lbs and I wanted her to grow into it. She may be as big as yours...but wanted to get an idea.

His mother was a pure Jack Russell. His father 1/2 jack, 1/2 chihuahua. Guy = pure adorable.

Yes, he is a bit of a shedder. Luckily he is not a big dog, so it is not the end of the world.

Oh my goodness! Thanks to this post we now know what our chi - mix is! Your Guy looks IDENTICAL to our Frankie! Frankie is 4 months old and tiny - how big was Guy at 4 months?

well, he was just over 2 pounds when we got him at 7 weeks... i'd guess that he was about 6-7 pounds at 4 months.
he's over a year and a half now, and weighs about 15 pounds.
