  • u know allot of people are calling Siegfried and roy fags, well at least these "fags" had the heart along with the balls to stand up and keep these magnificent animals from extinction

  • yeah, besides, when the tiger (forget its name) attacked roy, in the ambulance he said, "dont shoot the cat" so even when the tiger almost killed him, he still loved him, so unless you call that abuse, go fall into a tiger reserve

  • Seeing the 'big cats' was on my bucket list for years. I am so glad I got to see them less than 2 yrs before the incident. It is a real tribute to S&R the love they have for these animals they refused to let Montecore be put down.

  • Siegfried even after 40 years still thinks "How the fuck does he do this?"

  • Montecore never attacked Roy. Roy tripped while on the stage (Roy thinks he had a stroke at this point) and Montecore was worried about him. So he picked Roy up like a mother would pick up a cub and drag him to safety. Montecore didn't know that humans have arteries on their neck.

Montecore is and always will be Roy's friend.

  • I am overwhelmed by their pristine mullets...

  • @Leidachinaman It all comes down to, people are afraid of what they don't understand. Tigers have emotions, maybe he was just stressed or over worked. The tiger, never attacking anything in it's life, obviously didn't know his own strength. He didn't mean to harm him. That's the way I see it.

  • It's awesome to see so many people defending Roy here. To bad the majority of the world is to narrow minded to really think out this situation. Everyone just instantly labels it as an attack and feuled by the media and the stupidity of the average human being it spreads like wild fire. Now everywhere around youtube people misreference this even though these 2 shared the stage with that same Tiger again with no problems.

  • Great people. Beautiful animals!

  • @deora2dude The tiger's name was Montecore and it apparently was 'protecting' Roy by trying to drag him away by his neck after he'd tripped over the animal's paw. The tiger had just lunged at a stupid woman in the audience who was trying to pet him and Roy got between them and hit it on the nose with his microphone before tripping. They were separated using fire extinguishers. Fortunately Montecore was not put down.

  • too bad the tiger didn't eat Diane Sawyer then we wouldn't have to listen to her ask dumb questions anymore.

  • We know dogs can sniff out cancer and predict seizures, why is it scientificly unacceptable to believe the tiger sensed something wrong with Roy, in a report he said he felt dizzy and fell then the tiger grabbed him why Montecore kill him? He dragged him off stage.
