Detailed instructions for moving into supported shoulderstand. The blankets take the weight off of the head and neck and bring the weight to the shoulders making the pose light.

This modification will keep the head, temples, and neck soft. It also takes weight off the wrists and arms.

Beginners please do not attempt without the guidance of a qualified yoga teacher.

General precaution: Do not turn the head when practicing this pose.
