  • Wow! Great Vowel Shaping - what beautiful voices. I didn't sense the tendency for people this age to want to move to the diphthong! What types of warm ups do you do?

  • Thanks for the kind words. I'm in the process of writing a book on warmups that will be simple, clear and inexpensive. I can alert you to when this is ready for review or purchase. Contact me privately and leave your email.

  • I see the guys, but don't hear them :(

  • That's becuase they are unbroken treble voices. They are not men -they are 12 years old. You might be thinking of the SATB version.

  • There's that magnificent organ behind the choir and they used a piano?

  • This was a competition -we don't have a pipe organ at our school to prepare with, nor would I have considered it appropriate for this work.

  • the voicing is lovely - i dont understand why the all girls have to wear mens uniform - they could have upgrade the uniform for girls a little bit

  • personally I think this song should be sung by an SATB choir not just treble cuz the Bass part is awesome

  • My teacher told me to look this up, to see how others do it. The beginning starts out pretty, but then it goes on, and just-- what happened? The Rs are way too over-pronounced, and it sounds off. I think it may be their Australian accent, but their vowels sound odd.

  • very fast, isn't it? and some of the higher notes sounded strained and they overpronounced their Rs.

  • Such a beautiful song - the SATB arrangement is awesome, though, to hear the blend of the different vocal registers.

  • @musicedworld Agreed. this song is too light and airy for a pipe organ, even using flutes. as a choirmaster and organist myself, i rarely use the organ with the choir as i find it tends to over power the choir with its grandure and volume (not because of bad playing but because, generally you dont think of it as accompanying choirs singing light and airy songs)

  • this was my favorite choir song to sing when i was at school, thank you so much for putting this on here, they sing great

  • Sounds-a-little-rushed,but-otherwise-beutiful..

  • oh to be young again!!! This is just a marvelous performance... It is obvious that you have spent a great deal of time with these young people to bring them to such marvelous performance standards... Planning to move to Australia, so maybe i will get to hear you all in person!! Keep up the great work!

  • One of the best performances of this piece on YouTube, if not the best.
