I was 15 in 89, and I recall the onslaught of TV ads for the movie, and Burger King ads, both on TV and at the stores. Everywhere. Batman was a *huge* deal. Comic book movies may have never taken off the way they have if it weren't for this film.

I remember being 8, sitting in the movie theater watching this scene, and I thought to myself, fuck I want to be Batman, and I want to bang Vicky Vale

Один из самых удачных бэтмобилей. У него есть реактивный двигатель и он очень не пробиваемый. (Хотя по моему Tumbler ещё круче.)

he manage to do alot of stuff without turning hes head

I always felt that Tims movie was more in the gothic comic book universe were Nolon was based in a real world setting. Thats why Nolons Batmobile was like a small tank. You got the impression that Nolons batmobile could go through and over anything. Like an unstoppable force. But style wise I give the advantage to Tims Batmobile.

my goodness...the memories this brings to me...
I remembered an entrance to my grandma`s house that was covered by trees and stuff, it kinda looked like a cave, and had a little road next to the house... After watching this, I kept playing that I owned a cave and a car (it was actually a bike, but...kids imagination ftw XD)

Personally, I've always like Keaton's Batmobile better than Bale's. Bale's BM works great but it can use a better, less "tank-like" design with more of a "bat kind" of a motif such as the use of wings.
