Wild coatis taking advantage of tourists on Mt. Tepozteco. The coatis know all too well that tourists have packs for the climb full of water and snacks to fuel them on the climb up and down the mountain; let your guard down for only a moment and you could be surrounded by furry faces looking for a handout, or just assuming that they can have the food and climbing all over you- in which case you get covered in dirt and poop. I would recommend taking a handful of chips, tossing them, and running away.
I personally would also discourage letting them drink from your bottle, but then I guess I'm not a local.
My last name is teposte but im suppost to spell it tepozte
