Ooo, another idea is to use a marker to trace around the half circle in order to create a template on the board. Then, let the kids manipulate 'em! They can come up to the board & slide various circles "slices" onto the template to see how many different piece combinations they can use to completely cover it. Of course, this is a great way to teach equivalencies while introducing addition & subtraction of fractions, too!
