@legalizeit727 Sadly, you have a decent punk scene where you're from or you're just too jaded and trying to act by the book (a.k.a: a poser) to see the fact that punk rock is super segregated. I've been going to shows and playing in bands since '98 and honestly it just keeps getting worse.
Keep living your Utopia...it sounds nice.

I started listening to those Canadian bastards in the early 90's... glad I had the chance to see them live.

@GeinTheButcher666 This attitude is what destroyed punk...people who only let people be part of the punk culture if they conform to your rules of being punk. That is the most un-punk rock thing someone can do. Punk is here for the metalheads, the pop punks, the Katy Perry fans, the country fans, the thugs, the nerds, whoever wants to listen to it and appreciate it for the counter culture art form it is

Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time reading this thread. It put me to sleep almost as quickly as The Book of Mormon. I know that's only my opinion, but if you doubt me, then go ahead - knock yourself out. I could have done so much more with my time... Damn it.
Please feel free to rip on me if it'll liven things up for you a smidge. I'm just saying that '80s reruns of "Family Feud" are more edifying than this swill.
This thread sucks. I'm ashamed for having associated myself with it.

While I'm at it, I may as well say that I think Propagandhi's tribute to Venom, "Stand Up And Be Counted," was as good -or better- than when Venom performed it themselves. Blasphemy, you say? Perhaps so - but fuck blasphemy. Propagandhi did some amazing covers as well as writing a good deal of fanfuckingtastic original music.
Jesus... this really makes me feel ancient.

I was 12 when this came out. A friendly female classmate asked me to steal the CD for her. I didn't know the band - or much else, being 12; but the girl who beguiled me into taking it gave me my first blowjob later that day, and the album still ranks among my all-time favorites. I love their early material; but I lost interest in them when they released "Today's Empires, Tomorrow's Ashes". Still, great memories..
I have a swimsuit like the one on the back cover of "Where Quantity Is Job #1".

@0ddj0e my favorite part of skipping school was that i wasn't aloud to do it. Now a days skipping school just fucks shit up cus i'm paying for it. Honestly I just skipped lunch cus public school food is the pits. Also the crazy security guy quit chasing me across the parking lot after awhile due to the fact that i was just going across the street cus there was a Subway sandwich joint. Man that 60 year old motherfucker could run fast.
