@cdreid99999 And if you do try some stinger rounds lemme know. I had a few that didn't seat from the extra lead/copper that was wider than the case. Don't have the problem with the new spring tho. Bought 50 just to try. Just curious if yours has the same issue or if i just wore the hell out of my spring.

@cdreid99999 Honestly, I've I was doing under 50 yards and maybe doing like carbine drills, I would try go with the Aquila supermax. Light bullet, but the extra powder actually gives them a cute little recoil lol. I would't want to be on the receiving end thats for sure. I wasn't impressed with the CCI Stingers of velocitors after shooting the Aquila stuff. The Interceptor is a little pricier but still cheaper and hits harder than both of the CCI hypervel rounds. Just found the HP version too!

@cdreid99999 Yeah is wierd. I've ordered probably about 3000 rounds total and some bricks come lubed some don't. I actually fixed the slight gumming issue by replacing the bolt spring with an extra I had for the mossberg. A little snip and perfect fit. No cycling issues with ANYTHING. But I think it was worn out because I probably shot all of hypervelocity stuff. Aguila supermax and interceptor(FASTEST stuff ever!), Remington viper and yellow jackets(good for rabbit), CCI stingers and velocitors

@Skidz1818 some people have been changing 522 furniture etc out for ar15/22 furniture/accessories. It seems it almost always requires mods. The grip is good it could be a little narrower and maybe handprint. But when youre shooting the sig you wont even notice. Plus its a nice storeage compartment for earplugs etc

@ThatDudeSirraj Ive seen wolf well reviewed in .22lr as well. That they even have lube on the case makes me wary. Im ordering a bunch of different specialty ammo from ctd to find the best loads. Id suggest trying some 40 grain (barely) subsonic. Im also going to try stingers etc im hoping the 522 does well with hypervelocity ammo

@ThatDudeSirraj i believe what you say about the federal brass. this is MASS produced stuff i seriously doubt has any qc at all.. shoots well so far in my 522. I havent really been shooting for accuracy though (50 & 100 yard prone/bench). I think you got a bad barrel. There is no way ANY bull barrel should shoot anything but more accurate. The only thing i can think of is velocity. that extra 4" gives you a lot more velocity. Your 16 could be shooting sub and the 20" super

@cdreid99999 Oh and another thing, Wolf MT is some of the best stuff for the price. Its been well reviewed by many. Even match shooters. I just don't think Sig did the best job with these bull barrels. Maybe thats why they never released them as a seperate item to purchase. It really didn't increase my accuracy and in the case of the wolf, made it worse. Even after cleaning the lube off the cases. My mossberg702 loves em tho. Well over 15,000 rounds and the mossberg STILL shoots straight :D
My next purchase is going to be a 22 Rifle....looking at the S&W M&P 15-22 and the Sig 522 Tactical.....in your opinion, is the 522 worth the extra $100? I heard it had a better/smoother trigger then the M&P.

@CesarR1872 Oh Yeah! The M&P felt like a toy to me and many that have shot both agree the 522 is more reliable and yes the trigger is the best I've ever felt on a .22. Not sure how they got it just right but the break isn't much of a break at. Completely smooth release. BUT, if you want my honest opinion. If I was going to do it again, I would have just gotten the AR15(delton) and bought the .22 conversion. The 522 uses the same mags but you can always switch back to .223/5.56 Great for training

@CesarR1872 I don't like selling guns but I may just let go my 522 if the conversion kit is as smooth as it has been for some. Probably get it next month or so and test it out(MORE REVIEWS!!!) If it flys true then I may sell 522 with both barrels and get another AR upper. I'm getting happy thinking about it :) always wanted a +20" upper! I love the AR platform. Very customizable unlike the 522. Not to much to work with. You can with the 15-22but, to me, it's just not the best, but still fun!
