In Kansas City, Missouri, the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) along with "A Call To Oneness" a proactive group of ministerial leaders committed to action strategies targeted towards addressing the employment challenges facing those who are disadvantaged and disinfranchised coordinated an "Employment Readiness Initiative" that was targeted to help individuals become more employable, productive and self-sufficient by providing Commercial Driver's License (CDL) training that open doors of employment opportunities. Over 1400 individuals trained. Over 500 individuals have successfully satisfied the General Knowledge requirement of the CDL exam.
