Please Read. I am not talking about mastermind48451, who I posted this video in response to, in this video, I am talking about another guy. All you have to do is preheat your diesel engine long enough, and it will start even faster than a gasoline engine! This video was also made to compare cold starting ease with a Polaris ATV. The video should be available in my videos.

  • great cold start is it a tractor or snow plow?

  • It's both for us. It's a tractor but we have a three point hitch that hooks up to a plow. It works awesome in snow. I wish we would get some so I could take a video of it working!

  • @doggy8kitty Yeah JD sure..we have one use it for a PLANTER!

  • problem is kubotas eat batteries

  • any diesel can start up when you hold the damn glow plug switch down for 10 hours. my toro will start up after about 10 seconds of preheating it in like 3 degrees F

  • bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla....bla bla bla......bla bla bla bla bla....!OMG!

  • kubota has to be one of the best running tractors out there running neck

and neck with case IH and FORD/New Holland

  • Good ole Kubota!!

  • 1. Insert key

    2. Drain battery by charging glow plugs

    3. Hope you have enough battery charge left to start it

    4. If it doesn't start leave tractor until battery can be charged or spring arrives.

    5. Replace tractor by mid summer or move to warmer location

I should have saved up more money and bought a Deere or CAT as those seem to be the machines that start around here in -20 below at 10k feet.

On the plus side, I get a lot of exercise owning a Kubota, I do all the shoveling.

  • Yes, here we have it...there are no problems with diesel engines...someone have problems with starting them up. I would like to admit for people could not start'em up, you have to heat the engine before turning (at) the ignition!

    Quite revealing video :-)
