@italiatuva senza desiderio di polemica,a mio avviso ,qui mi pare che la netrebko abbia quanto meno una dizione piu' vicina alla lingua italiana,le tonalita' delle due artiste e cosi' tutti gli altri aspetti diciamo ,tecnici , sono poi quello che costituiscono,la vicinanza ,il piacere dell'ascolto,la preferenza dell'una o dell'ltra.Ave!

What I don't understand is why we have to have such hateful arguments comparing opera singers. I bet if they were all alive there would be a great deal of mutual respect. Why can't we have that same respect. It's art, it is emotional and subjective maybe just enjoy what you like and let others do the same.

Think what the singers would say if the people who want to argue about who was better did it front of them. It would be really nice to see some honest attempt at courteous objectivity.

@vernadakieleni  Are you drunk? How dare you compare her to Callas or Tebaldi. I like Netrebko but she needs to mature a little. Her voice is still too young. She should stick to slutty , crazy roles for now. She's amazing at those. Now , her Lucia performance at the MET 2009/2010 was amazing. Check that out!
