  • Hi, I am a trained professional dog groomer and it was very interesting to watch you groom. The last comment you received about shaving was unfair. It is very common for a pet Scottie to be clipped and any number of Google searches will give advice on how to do it.

I was impressed by the amount of time you spent trimming the feet and overall I felt you did a very nice job. Hand stripping is not something that is seriously considered for a pet dog. Keep up the good work :)

  • As a Scottie owner, I think she did a great job, both dogs look great and illustrate both styles of cut beautifully.

  • Watching this reminds me of my Scottie. I miss him so.

  • Sorry, but I have been grooming Scotties for 10 years and this is NOT a good cut. It is much too close! I would suggest a good old fashioned BOOK explaining that the coat should be layered on top gradually getting longer at the sides and skirt. You should never use higher than an 8.5 blade on the back, neck, and face and I use an even lower number. I would be more than happy to share pictures of how my Scotties look and then you can decide for yourself.

  • what well behaved scotties!

  • I wrote to you 8 months ago and I just looked at your video again. I have had my Scotty for 1 year on April 6! Now that I have been teaching myself to groom him I am finally getting it so he doesn't have any bald spots!! I have to apologize for my comments before. I think that you do a fine job on these scotties and I admire how easy you make it look! Thank you for this video because it has helped me in the long run! You also have a very nice shop! Good Luck to you in all you do!

  • Wow, that's what must be happening to my little Scottie right now! He's out getting his hair cut. I bet he isn't as well behaved though.

  • uff, I recommend you do not put more videos SCOTTISH TERRIER, in my opinion knows nothing about this race

  • I am in Dog grooming school, & I did not see anything wrong with what she did. I think the dogs turned out beautiful.

  • Who uses a dremmal anymore???? This Chick scares me.

  • Does this lady not understand that product in the dogs eyes really hurts??? Ouch!
