I was stationed at AFN Wuerzburg 1983 to 87, before we had FM service, and television only came out of FKT.

Un-freaking-believable. I thought when I left Germany I'd never see these commercials again. I actually thought these community updates were the most tolerable commercials on AFN.
I lived in Butzbach from 1990-1994 and suffered through crappy commercials, 2AM basketball games and shows being one season behind with this one channel.
