What speed were you going before that stop and what was your estimated distance? I have taken a Quest out on a test ride but the brakes were not working very well on the day. I would like to get a better read on the stopping distance of a Velo.

@Curtish9288 I was doing 40km/h and it took approximately 6m to stop but I accidentally locked the left wheel which would have made braking less effective. You can see my rear wheel was almost lifting off the ground.

This is of course on smooth, dry bitumen.

@MrRickHarker Thanks for the comment, Rick. If I'm riding with others I generally like to stay with them. If I get ahead (which is easy to do in the Mango) I wait for them.

What a fun to watch video.

I'm glad to see you did keep track of where your friends are. I can never understand how some groups just "drop" their mates because they can. I always stay with my friends no matter how much slower they may be.

I'm sure the Mango manufacturers are enjoying your well put together videos too.
