  • The puffs are quite expensive - you need a vet's prescription for Flovent and I ordered mine from Canada it was cheaper about $84. for 120 doses - Flovent 250mcg .

  • thank you and bless you for posting this..my Kipper, 2 years old, is about to have to start these treatments..now that I have seen it done I don't think it will be too hard :)

  • Toby was diagnosed about 2 years ago with severe asthma and he now takes his Flovent with aerokat like a champ.I am able to do it alone now as he just sits and holds his little face up for the mask. Our kitties know when something is really helping them! And to think my initial vet offered to put Toby down as he mocked the use of Flovent with cats.

  • Your cat is a well behaved cat, taking the inhaler like that. How long have you been using the inhaler on your cat?

  • Not sure if my first response went through so here it is again. Toby was on Flovent for about a month with the use of the aerokat device. Toby is pretty docile and we double team him to give the medicine. Another good video on how to administer the medicine singlehandedly is available but YouTube won't allow me to send you the link. But google fabcats and look for the video kitty.

    Hope this helps.

  • this is one of the best feline asthma videos on youtube.I have 2 questions .

    1. is that a normal human inhaler , on the arrowcat ?

  • The inhaler is Flovent ( a human asthma drug). I received the prescription from my vet and bought it through a Canadian Pharmacy because it is expensive. The plastic tube is called Aerokat which I rodered online as well. It has been a miracle for my asthmatic cat. Google feline asthma to go the website for all the information
